Dr. Engr. Baba J ADAMU, PhD: is the youngest son of the late Malam Alhaji Adamu Jibrin Imam, the former Chief Imam of Kaduna State Central Mosque located at Kano Road Kaduna. Dr. Baba J Adamu completed LEA primary school in Kaduna and GSS Makarfi, Zaria, and then moved overseas for his higher education.

He got his Masters Degree (M.Sc) in Civil Engineering in Poland in 1993 at the Wroclaw University of Technology where he lectured and acquired his Doctorate degree (Ph.D) in Industrial Engineering Research (silo storage/bunker Technology) in 2000 with Excellence.

 Dr Baba wrote many scientific papers and attended seminars all over Europe, the Americas and Israel. He was given Canadian citizenship in 1998 but finally moved to Toronto, Canada in 2000, where he became the design construction chief Engineer at VegaCAD. He later acquired various Certificates in Information Technology (IT) at Centennial College in Toronto, Canada; Crisis Management & Participatory Approaches to Monitoring at Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, Toronto Ontario, Canada; as well as Business Management at the Banff Academy for Business, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. After which, Dr Adamu became an ICT Consultant and CEO of iNetwoks Canada, and Editor-in-Chief of Arewa-online all based in Toronto Canada.

Dr. Baba J ADAMU, PhD: was chosen by the Canadian Government for short term assignments in various International Canadian Missions such as:

• The Canadian Economic & Trade Mission to Africa (South Africa, Senegal & Nigeria),

• The Election Monitoring/Observer Missions like in Ukraine Presidential run-off elections, Dec 2004,

• As a member of the Ontario Government Strategy Group.

• Dr BJ Adamu through the United Nations (UN) Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR POCI), New York, USA acquired Certificates on Global Terrorism, on Peacekeeping & International Conflict Resolution and UN working Systems, 2006/07

• He has written several scientific papers which were published in several International Scientific Journals as well as documents on economic policies and strategic empowerment and human capacity building.

• He was the IT Advisor to the Nigerian National Political Reform Conference (Confab) in 2005,

• His latest book is titled: the Effect of Global Terrorism & the Niger Delta Crisis, Nov 2007

Dr Adamu has tremendous experience in management of men and materials in private sector, good knowledge of international and Nigerian political, economic and social environment, high level of integrity, evidence of personal discipline as well as courage of conviction. He has  a strong conviction for the respect for the rule of law, respect for human rights, beliefs in popular participation and consultation, knowledge and understanding of the working of the international system, voluntary service to the community, sense of history and lesson, competence in concepts and tools of development and respect for African value and cherished all Nigerian traditions.
